Bajaj Wave scooterette borrows heavily from the old Bajaj Saffire in terms of the overall design but it comes with several new refinements. Bajaj has incorporated its patented DTSi (Digital Twin Spark Ignition) technology and Exhaust TEC into Bajaj Wave.

Bajaj Wave with its low seat height and ergonomic features stands out in style and provides good comfort and maneuverability. With its sleek good looks and aerodynamic design and new dual color tone combination, Bajaj Wave is certainly amongst the most attractive offerings to scooter lovers.

Bajaj Wave's 130mm mechanically expanding drum-brakes offer adequate braking power and the suspension set-up includes coaxial shock-absorber with a leading link and spring.

The single shock absorber and the coaxial spring at the rear offer a comfortable ride. Bajaj Wave is loaded with various utilities. It has a front storage box, a bag hook, pillion footrest and side-foot pegs as standard fitments.

Bajaj Wave is equipped with 110cc four-stroke, DTS-i engine that delivers a peak power of 8 bhp at 7,000 rpm and a peak torque of 0.9 Kgm at 5,000 rpm. The power availability and the torque delivery are quite linear in the Bajaj Wave and as a result it has better pick up than its competitors.

The DTSi and Exhaust TEC technologies enhance the fuel efficiency of Bajaj Wave.
In city driving conditions, Bajaj Wave delivers a mileage of around 50 km/l, which is pretty decent considering its 110 cc engine.
